Time flies
May. 17th, 2005 10:12 pmAnother weekend, another 3rd shift at work. 9pm Sat until 9:30am Sun. But we got a lot done and don't have another weekend workfest until July. Plus I have tomorrow off to play catch-up. Plan on catching up on sleep, housework, laundry, and if I feel particularly energized, taking on city hall over my house again.
I'm way behind on lj, apologies to those I've neglected.
Lib: Yes, the weather was awesome, hasn't been as nice since.
Louise: Thanks for the poem reference, that was cute. The Shakespearean Insult Kit on the same page was also enjoyable. That should be turned in to a meme, verily! BTW, did you catch the pun at the end of my post? That's the only part I had to really work at to get to come out right.
The house is finally getting worked on again. The biggest upside is that once this is done the furniture and stuff in storage can be retrieved and then I can settle-up with the insurance company about that too. Oh, and I filed a small claims suit against the first contractor. More about that later.
