The abomination that was the mess in my kitchen is now gone. Groceries have been purchased, put away, and partially consumed. Lamb and potatoes for dinner, cream horns for dessert (because I can't go to the store and not buy them), all washed down with Warsteiner. Yum.

I should have gotten a newspaper and made some calls about getting someone to haul the rest of the construction junk in my backyard to the dump now that the insurance company has finally said they'd pay for that. But the stuff'll be there tomorrow.

I got tired of waiting on the court, so two friday's ago I petitioned the court to have the papers served by the sheriff. That was heard and approved on Tuesday, I got the papers in the mail on Thursday and took them to the sheriff. It only cost $26.50 for them to serve the papers, and had I known that I would have pushed for it a month ago. I've not heard anything back from the sheriff since, which isn't good so I'll have to follow-up on that tomorrow too.

Saturday I got my on-call check from work a week early, so in celebration I hit the coin shop and dropped a chunk of it on some Cool Stuff. I'll have to see about posting some photos, as it is really a cool part of history and some very nice art as well.

Friday I went to my first Arean Football game. The Manchester Wolves vs the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Pilgrims (I think). The Wolves dominated the game from the score on the opening kick-off to the final seconds of the 4th quarter and crushed them 63 to 36. I've never been able to really get into watching arean football on TV, and after seeing a game in person, I have to say it's much like ice hockey in that respect: definitely better in person.

There's been a ton of stuff I want to post about, but when I finally get home and get to the point where I can, I've lost all interest. In part cause I've been working a lot and I'm thinking by the end of the day the last thing I want to do is more typing. Plus I've not been sleeping much again, but I think I've got that corrected someone this weekend. Slept in both yesterday and today, and as I write this, I'm actually tired for a change. Eating like a pig and drinking like a fish still has some benefits!
