product recommendation and foiling Murphy

After having sent my Verbatim 256 memory stick through both the washer and dryer, I can give this my highest personal and professional recommendation as a sturdy product. Ice cold water wash and 85 minutes in the dryer and it still works with no data loss. (And no, this was most decidedly not intentionally done.)

This makes-up for having my dial-up connection die on me while writing a fairly lengthy lj post that maybe I'll see about rewriting tomorrow.

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! Last Monday I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points). In April I pulled over and changed siani_hedgehog's flat tire (15 points). In June I put gum in rantarn's hair (-12 points). Last Wednesday I put money in tetsab's expired parking meter (14 points). In May I pushed oonh in the mud (-17 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-76 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich! Sincerely, prgrmr
