Life

Is really all about personal choices and being responsible for the consequences of those choices.

Because people often forget that, and because many prior choices often preclude other choices from being selected, people, in general, don't like being reminded that it's all about personal choice and being responsible for the consequences of those choices.

Career

Only the fittest survive.
