I'm going to start a technical blog over on blogspot. I want to improve my writing skills, particularly my technical writing. I need a more formal setting for that. By it's nature and how I've chosen to make use of it over the years, lj is not at all formal. And that's ok; it's great place to do true journaling where I can vent about my life, brag about my kids and share my observations on the weird stuff about the world around me.

I'm supposed to be running errands and packing and getting ready for the seminar tomorrow but I'm very unmotivated right now. In part because most of that I know won't take more than a couple of hours, but mostly cause it's a dreary day out there and I'm in no hurry to go out in it even though it suits my mood.
