Some people spend their lives trying to run away from their injuries. But, like Buckaroo said, "No matter where you go, there you are." Some people live in denial and try their hardest to ignore their injuries. Some wear them like a badge of courage; some like a scarlet letter of shame. Some find escape in trying to help heal others; some find catharsis in the same.
And then there are those few who can have the patience and determination to find healing in a calm, quiet, unpretentious way, and thereby give hope to us all.
