suck, suck, suck

The flight sucked, Jersey sucked, the disaster recovery test sucked, and the hotel (Holiday Inn in Secaucus) totally sucked out loud. None of their vending machines worked, room service only went until 10pm, and the tap water was vile. We were at Sungard until after 11pm last night (which is another rant altogether), so at 11:30pm I'm looking for a bar or restaurant to hit for a drink. Fortunately there was a sports bar within walking distance, that not only had bottled water, but had guinness on tap. A small consolation prize for two days of suck, I suppose.
I did come back to find in my mail a notice from the sheriff that my complaint had been served on the 27th of November. The letter was post marked the 4th of December. Three razzberries for the speedy wheels of local government. I have to get the notice of service to the court, but that can wait until Friday morning. Tomorrow is going to be insane. But, at least it's payday and I can get the new Pirate movie DVD after work.
