W2s were distributed at work today. So I got my tax return filed tonight and the promise of some cash to be deposited into my checking account in the next 10 days. Or so. (It seems that having five children is good for something other than the grocery store's bottom line.)
Given that this next paycheck falls on the first, which would normally be my mortgage payment, I will instead be paying for oil already delivered and car repairs yet to be done, and then covering the mortgage with funds promised to be delivered in the next 10 days. Or so. We'll see. If I make it through that intact, then I can put the deposit down on the much anticipated summertime dino dig.
Nothing like playing finanical Russian Roulette with the United States government, eh?
