I walked out of work this morning at 10:30am. I have written and will give my letter of resignation to my manager tomorrow morning, effective August 31.

I don't know how it will be received or what they'll do, if anything. And while I have a certain amount of anxiety over not having so much as an interview, let alone a new job, the sense of relief is just incredible.
