I think I know how to do it.

I think I know how to search the Internet, how to find the things that are hidden in plain sight.

What I don't know is how to put that knowledge, that insight, into an algorithm that a computer will understand, replicate, enhance, improve, extrapolate, propagate, and ubiquitate.

In other words, I know what the next google will do; what I don't know is how it will do it. More research is clearly in order.

And soon, if I want to have a hope of cashing-in on this. Before google does. Or before some acronymous government agency figures it out and makes it go away before it even gets here.

It'd be a crying shame if the web was stuck at release 2.0 forever.

OK, to clairify last nights stupid-sounding crypticness:

What's going to drive the next round of web search engines will be searching content directly. Not searching the titles, metawords, indexes, or the surrounding text, but searching pictures, video, audio files and anything else they come up with directly.

Want to find a picture of a redhead wearing the latest RayBans? *Poof*! Here ya go, have a list. Oh wait, not orange-red? Not ManicPanic day-glo red? That red between cinnamon and shimmery auburn? Sure. No problem. Here it is.

Like that.

So, how do we do that?

We start with Doom! and F12.
