Today wasn't as disasterous as it might have been. The trouble for Mike turned into a Tempest-in-a-Teapot, for the larger part. He's still got a bit to deal with, plus his mother's and my good graces to get back into, but that will come with time.

However, the repercussions are such that the little kids are going to go to Maine to live with their Grandfather. Whether or not this turns into a permanent situation remains to be seen. I can't go into details now, but this is motivate by a desire by both their mom and I for a stable, safe, regular lifestyle for them. Mike will be here for several more weeks. Legal advice is being sought tomorrow.

Some good news, for a change of pace this week, is that Brandon, my oldest, has secured financing and has been accepted to the tech college he wants to go to. So come October, I will be the proud father of a College Student! He's going go to Maine with the other kids to hang out with his Grandfather for a bit.

So, now I can refocus on the job search tomorrow. Except at 5, there will be a break taken at the Barley House in Concord where frosty beverages and good food will be comsumed in celebration commemoration of my departure from the hospital.
