I fixed a major oops today by refiling my proposed witness and exhibit list. I started thinking about it because I got a letter back in March from the attorney who was the estate Trustee for my opponent's bankruptcy, which was in reponse to an e-mail I sent to him asking if he had any relevant documents (he didn't) regarding the finances of the estate. I had forgotten to include that in my list.
Reviewing what I filed last week, I found the big whoops: I forgot to list the Defendant as a witness. Yeah, just very nearly somewhat fatal that was. So I mailed an amended list today, adding both the Defendant as a witness and the letter, and including a copy of the letter to his attorney. They already knew about the letter 'cause I mentioned it in a prior motion, and she whined about it, saying I did it to "needlessly draw attention to myself". Whatever. At least now she can't say I didn't disclose it previously.
