Another birthday
Jan. 6th, 2008 11:07 pmNo, not mine, my daughter's, Samantha. She's 11, and definitely not a child any more. My parents sent gift cards to Toys-r-us for Sam, Dan, and Elyssia. When I asked her when she wanted to go, Sam said she didn't. Said she didn't want toys anymore, just clothes.
*sigh*
I took her little brother and sister out today and got her the soundtracks to High School Musical 1 & 2, which Sam had also mentioned wanting for Christmas, and I got her gift card so she and her mom can go clothes shopping for girl stuff. (I'm actually a decent clothes shopper, but there are some items for which I am gender-impaired to be seen shopping with).
So, time marches on, and I do my best to keep up.
