Still sick. Still not motivated to work. I have all of 6 hours in this week, and 5 of that today, which doesn't exactly put me on a winning pace to cover the remainder of this month's bills. The migraines have stopped, for which I am very thankful. (You know you have a headache when the sound of typing is painful.) If I can get more than 5 hours of continuous sleep, I may have a shot at pulling out a productive week from this mess.

Last Friday I went down to my client's office and collected the the mail server waiting to be upgraded. I still have a few updates to the documentation to make, and that has been a barrier this week, which is rather uncharacteristic of me. I usually like writing the documentation. There's something very satisfying with the finished product; the knowing that I don't just have a 50-some page record of what I did, but a cookbook for doing it again. But, writing like that takes focus, and that is one thing that I have been in seriously lacking this week. I may do something else very uncharacteristic, and just wing it. Start the upgrade and update the documentation on-the-fly. I suppose if it gets too awkward and/or frustrating, I can stop the upgrade and finish the document.

The other thing that has seriously thrown me off this week has been my social interactions. They have been limited, mostly not in person, and left me with the distinct feeling (again) that I have either said too much, not enough, or entirely the wrong thing. For as often as I have left myself feeling this way, you'd think I could see it coming, and do something about it. Like prevent it. Or at least find a smooth way to clean it up. Having said that, I still hope I am well enough this weekend to get out and not worry about infecting anyone else.
