back to the grind
Mar. 25th, 2008 11:57 pmI went to work today. But before I went to work today, I went to the Barley House. They opened at 6:00am for the Red Sox vs the Athletics. I got to watch through the 5th inning, and had a decent breakfast to go with it. I could seriously get used to a guinness with breakfast from now on, so it's good that this is not a daily event! I listened to the game on the radio during the drive to work, but that only got me through the top of the 7th. I have a radio at my desk, but unfortunately no reception. And streaming video appears to be one of the only filtered items through the internet connection at work, so that was the end of the game for me, but fortunately not for the Sox.
Work was uneventfull, which was appreciated, because by 4:30 my early day had more than caught-up with me. I was chilled and my cold meds had worn off, so I cut-out a little early and came home and crashed for 5 hours. I'll probably be up half the night now, but I feel tons better, so I'll take the trade-off.
I leave you with pics from the Elephant cam.
