Horton Hears a Who
Apr. 6th, 2008 11:26 pmWell... it didn't suck. It was cute, parts of it were funny, there were a couple of scenes of near-drama, but it was mostly a rather bland interpretation of the Dr. Seuss classic. It followed the book with the plot and characters to a point, but again, a very (and I think deliberately) bland one. The closing scene was lame to the point of being annoying. The kids liked it well enough.
Then I had to unexpectedly drive Brandon back to school, because his mom's car broke down again. It's an hour drive each way on winding, hilly roads and takes a ton of concentration to navigate, particularly in the dark and rain; consequently I am rather wiped-out, mentally. Tomorrow I may skip the GNHLUG meeting, depending on how my day goes and how much actual sleep I can manage tonight.
