happy halloween

I had a total of three kids show-up at my door tonight. Part of that is due to me not getting home until after 6, and part because the cross-street I live on has only 5 houses, and 3 of them are corner houses (one corner has an empty side-lot for the house on the parallel street). My house is a duplex, and my neighbor was the only house on the street with the lights on, so most kids were skipping this street altogether. So now I have all this extra chocolate that I'll have to eat on my own, but was so worth to have for those three kids who did show.
