they broke lj some more
Nov. 6th, 2008 11:50 pmI intensely dislike the new Profile page layout. To borrow from
siani_hedgehog, it's pants. The old layout was balanced, centered, and mostly symmetrical from top to bottom. The new one is lame. It looks like a badly formated work-in-progress in FrontPage.
I HATE that my journal name is so small and cluttered in with the statistical stuff at the top of the page, taking away the prominance of it. That stats don't belong up there, they should be back at the bottom. The buttons are out of place. There's no balance to it. Of course, putting the "send v-gift" right up top will get more people to use it, which will generate more revenue for our Russian Overlords.
This is what I get for not keeping up with the lj-design group.
I posted this little rant. I'm sure it won't change anything, but I felt better for 5 seconds about it.
EDIT: go sign-up for
changeitback. If enough people sign-up, it will at least provide some verifiable, statistical measure of dissatisfaction. That we can go to the media with.
