2008 FFL results

For the first time in 10 years of playing, I finished in the money. But just barely, as I managed to salvage fourth place after falling to 5th a couple weeks ago. I spent most of the first 10 weeks in the top 3. Had I not left so many points on the table all year by playing the wrong QB/RB combinations, I could have won it. As it was I finished 12 points out of third, and could have had 25 more points Sunday playing Aaron Rogers and Adrian Peterson instead of Philip Rivers and Chris Johnson.

The funny part is we were all beaten by an 11 year old. One of the guys partnered with his son, and once his son got the hang of it after the first couple of week, he got to set the line-ups all on his own. And he won over two hundred bucks for his efforts. Maybe I should e-mail him and ask who he likes in the play-offs and then book a flight to Vegas and place some bets.
