milestone

Samantha scored her first basket today! She got the offensive rebound and put it back up off of the glass and it in it went. The best part was that she was not the most surprised person in the building, but instead was very happy, and very pleased with herself. Her teammates all cheered her, which was nice too.

This was her best game yet. She forced two jump balls, played great defense, and had a defensive rebound to go with the one offensive one, and was generally agressive and hustling. She played a couple minutes in the 2nd quarter, but then got to play the entire second half. She and I were both so proud of her. It was a very nice birthday present to herself, I think.
