sick again

And this time, my sister-in-law, who is a nurse, has suggested that it's CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency). A little googling and a lot of reading later, it doesn't seem I have the symptoms, other than coming down with anything that any sick person happens to have whilst looking at me. This paper was rather interesting, if not also rather dry.

So I stayed home from work today, and may do so tomorrow. I missed taking Sam to basketball practice tonight, but she was able to get a ride with one of the coaches whose daughter is on the team and goes to Sam's school, so that got covered. Saturday is her last regular season game. They are 8-0, and are playing the same team they played last week, so they ought to be 9-0 as they scored over 50 points in last week's game. Playoffs are next week, with the semi-final round on Tuesday and the finals on Friday. I don't know why they do that, have the playoffs on nights different from the practices or the games. It's annoying because it throws my schedule off for the week, and will be doubly so after being out ill this week.
