(no subject)

I had a great day with my kids, starting with pancake breakfast, then the book fair at the high school, lunch at the Barley House, and a trip the ice cream stand in the afternoon. I am truly getting old, because Samantha snuck in cups cakes last night when I picked them up. When we got back from lunch she insisted I wait in the kitchen, raced up stairs to her room and back down and presented me with cupcakes as her and Dan and Elyssia all hollered "happy birthday!"

I am now watching Star Trek on DVD and enjoying a quiet rest of the night.
