But, my Windows PC is. Sort of. It was spontaneously shutting off. I don't know if it was the last storm we had that may have semi-fried something in the power supply or on the motherboard, or if the Comodo anti-virus software I replaced Norton with is responsible. I took it outside, popped the case and blew it out with a hair dryer (my canned air was down to being canned vacuum) and blew about a pound of dust out of it, so I'm hoping that will help. But for now I'm down to my Linux system, which is an older Dell and currently running CentOS 5.5. For some reason the font size in Firefox is microscopic despite having set the default font size to 16. All of that makes for updating LJ high on my list of Things I Don't Want To Do.

Samantha had her final school band concert of the year tonight. I took a couple of pictures, and if I can get my Window's PC going again, will upload them to my facebook. For the past two months she's been going on all excited about how they were going to play The Black Eyed Peas "I Got a Feeling" for the concert, and I have to admit, it lived up to the hype. They also played a piece called "Junkyard Jam" which involved using up-ended 5 gallon buckets as drums, and a large 50 gallon barrel as well. There's supposedly an MP3 of it here, but I can't validate that it's the exact same, as I don't have speakers on my Linux box. The 7th & 8th grade band played something called "Superheroes R US" (which you can find on Youtube), which is a composition of various Super Hero themes. This struck me funny as I don't think any of them had previously heard some of them, especially the theme from the Batman TV show with Adam West.
