May. 21st, 2006 10:59 pmI worked yesterday from 8pm to about 4:30am this morning and when I got home, couldn't sleep. I finally crashed after 9:30, and didn't wake up until 4. Except I didn't get up right away, so naturally I fell back asleep and didn't get up until 6pm when it was raining so hard and such huge drops that I thought it was hailing. So now I'm all backwards with my schedule. Again.
Using that as motivation to make-up for sleeping through most of my day, I've cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen, done some laundry and will be tackling the ironing in a bit.
I am looking forward to this week. I will get a day off for having worked this weekend. I can probably only take Tuesday or Friday, as I have meetings I cannot get out of on Wednesday and Thursday. We aren't supposed to take Monday off, in case there is any fall-out from the weekend's work. In any case, a short week will be welcome. Plus I've a short week next week. Except that I'm on call so I won't be able to do much.
I've bought four of these from the US Mint. They are supposed to ship tomorrow. I should get them Friday or Saturday, which means next Sunday 3 of them are going on ebay. I've made a point of not following sales of these on ebay, so as to not get my hopes up. Given that they sold-out raather quickly, I'm still thinking I can get over a hundred each for them, make all my money back, and have one left to keep. Or something close enough to that.
