Scared of the Heights
Oct. 8th, 2006 04:22 amMy girls share a bedroom. They have bunkbeds, but neither one of them want to sleep in the top bunk. Elyssia, my youngest, is convinced there's these little monsters that live there, and they will get her in the middle of the night if she sleeps there. These little monsters are named Heights.
It seems she heard her older sister, Samantha, talking about how she was afraid of heights and didn't want the top bunk to sleep in. After that, Elyssia's then three year old imagination took over and now her bed is possed by the monsters "Heights". Danny and Mike have bunk beds, but apparently Danny's bunk doesn't suffer from this maladay. And of course the girls will play up there and up on Danny's bunk too. During the day. I don't know if they'll go up there after dark. (Which, of course, sucks if I think about it too much, but that's another rant for another day.)
Elyssia described the Heights monsters to my oldest, Brandon. He was impressed. He thinks they'd make the basis for a good horror movie.
