- I do not deal well with other people's drama
- I cannot reason someone out of a bias to which they are emotionally attached
- I do not have anywhere near as much patience as I thought, and I was already aware that I didn't have as much as most people think I have
- I'm probably not as screwed-up as I thought; at the very least I'm probably no more screwed-up than any other "normal" person. This, however, is not at all comforting.
- I'm not the only person who doesn't like themselves, and to their own detriment
- I'm not so good that I can effectively manage all the stuff that I have going on in my life right now, and it is clearly starting to show, except that's there's nothing I can cut out, either for sake of others in my life or my own sanity. Guess which of those gets to be shortchanged?
Today's quote:
"...for to be what one is by one's own act is freedom."
-- Kierkegaard
