Jan. 4th, 2007 06:36 pmI didn't sleep last nite. Tried. Wouldn't happen. I'm running on about 4 and half hours of sleep from Tuesday night right now. I'm going to try to stay up until 8 or so and then crash.
We had a teacher meeting at school for Daniel yesterday, and got to talk to another specialist who has their own vision of who my son is, what he's issues are and how he can be helped. Except that they are wrong on all three counts. I described the situation as a "solution in search of a problem, and my son is not that problem" to my Ex. She was amused. Of course I have to be more polite in the refusal letter, but it feels good to say that stuff. The letter, however, is going to wait until this weekend.
Still pointlessly crushing. I was offered an oppotunity, half in jest but half serious I think, to get introduced to a very nice, very beautiful woman, but passed. The only thing worse than pointlessly crushing is random dating while doing so. Not that I have a ton of experience with, well, either, but it just looks like a potential train wreck of emotions and awkward social situations.
Oh wait, that's a normal day for me.
All the more reason.
