court update

I spent yesterday writing and today mailed a motion to extend the deadline for discovery, a motion to compel the defendant to produce his tax returns, and a motion for special consideration due to spoliation of evidence by the defendant. The hearing date for these is on June 27, although the Judge should decide in my favor to extend the Discovery deadline well before that. If he doesn't, then the hearing may well be short in that he may deny all three motions. Can't do anything about that now but wait.

I didn't go to my class tonight because I spent most of today dealing with a problem with one of my kids. All will eventually be well, but WOW, the new and creative ways they can reinvent the same problems with being a teenager.
