surprised and worried

I've been checking the Court website a couple of times a day this week, and I am very surprised that no summary judgment motions have been filed by the guy I'm chasing. The most likely explanations are his attorney blew the deadline (again), or he's run out of money and couldn't pay her to write and file them, or he's dropped out of sight (again). Obviously, it's the last one that has me worried.

Monday I'll leave his attorney a message and just ask if she's lost contact with him again. It's happened twice before, and, despite the rules, she's waited until the following hearing to inform the Court. Not this time.
