sick of sick

I so hate being sick. At least I can eat. Throwing-up is the absolute worst part of being sick and I thank God that I am not going through that. I didn't get up until noon. I've watched a lot of TV, both National Treasure movies, and parts of the Red Sox game. I think I dozed through more of the game than I actually watched.

I talked to Brandon on the phone. The party was a big success. Most of his mom's family were there and they lingered on for a hour past when the were supposed to, but apparently the staff at the Inn didn't mind. I'm hoping tomorrow I feel better. I need to get my van back and will have to drive, and if the achiness at least is gone that will be good.

Feeling better today. The aches were gone by mid-afternoon, which allowed me to feel confident enough to forgo a dose of medication to be able to drive. And even though they lost, I think getting to watch the Cleveland game on opening day also contributed to me being in a good mood and therefore open-minded enough to want to drive in the first place. Or something like that. I'm exhausted now.

Tomorrow I'm going to the doctors. Normally I'd only go if I was getting worse, but I need a definitive opinion on if I'm still contagious, 'cause the last thing I want to do at my job is get everyone else sick. If I don't feel any worse than I do now, I will offer to work from home before and after my appointment in effort to do some damage control with my boss, although I'm thinking I'm probably over-thinking it.

Brandon leaves tomorrow at 11. So after making arrangements with work (which I think I'm going to do right after this via e-mail) and making my Dr's appointment, I'm going to go over to the house to see him off. I told him today to be prepared to have his picture taken, so I have a recent one of him, pre-military experience. I'll post it to my Facebook after I'm done with work.
