court update

Here's what I spent so much time on this week and filed with the Court on Thursday: Motion for Summary Judgment on my Complaint, Legal Memorandum in support of my Motion for Summary Judgment on my Complaint, Facts in support of my Motion for Summary Judgment on my Complaint, Motion for Summary Judgment on his Counterclaim, Legal Memorandum in support of my Motion for Summary Judgment on his Counterclaim, and Facts in support of my Motion for Summary Judgment on his Counterclaim.

Fun stuff, eh?

I owe my Ex an apology. She's working with me to rearrange when she'll be at her Dad's up in Maine so I can take the kids to Ohio. We had a somewhat emotional conversation about it Tueday, we both offered compromise suggests on Wednesday, and yesterday she told me about changing her schedule.

She said that if the kids had to choose between Maine and Ohio, that they were going to choose Maine every time, and I certainly don't blame them for that. It's very nice up there, and they know the people there much better. And it's only about a quarter of the drive time, which, for a little kid, is all the difference in the world. But, she did say they want to be able to go to both, which made me happy. So I may pull this off yet. Still have to figure out accomodations out there.
