Dazed and Confused and Done
Sep. 3rd, 2007 09:53 pmI spent part of this morning cleaning up Mike's room, and then this afternoon vacuuming and cleaning at my place. I tried watching "Dazed and Confused", but about 30 minutes into it I started fastfowarding, and after about 5 minute of that, I turned it off. And I want my 35 minutes back.
I was eleven years old in 1976, so I wasn't exactly relating to any of the characters, and fortunately I wasn't on the receiving end of the type of abuse being dished out in the movie as a kid either. It struck me as being just another masturbatory nostalgic movie for those where part of the "in crowd" at the time.
I started watching "The Oh in Ohio", but didn't pick it back up after I went to the house to take the dog out again. But I did get my place cleaned, my bills done and ready to be mailed in the morning, and I have my To Do list for tomorrow ready.
