Primary '08
Jan. 8th, 2008 05:47 pmApparently voter turnout today in New Hampshire is huge. So much so that that additional ballots are being sent by the Secretary of State to several towns to ensure that there is no shortage. Based on the hundreds of people in downtown Concord yesterday, I'm not surprised. I live in NH in a town of a little more than 3,500. I voted this morning at 11:30am, and while there wasn't a line, the place was definitely busy.
Honestly, I wanted to vote for Edwards. I was very, very impressed with him in the 2004 primary. I went to one of his rallies and got to speak with him for a few minutes in '04.
But, I am registered republican, and would have had to switch parties to vote for Edwards, and I couldn't decided if I really wanted to do that. Then the deadline for switching passed, so I couldn't, problem solved.
My guess on the results:
Dems:
1. Obama
2. Edwards
3. Clinton
4. Richardson
Repubs:
1. McCain
2. Romney
3. Paul
4. Huckabee
5. anyone other than Guilliani
6. Thompson
7. Guilliani
Real results will be in about three hours from now.
