it's official
Feb. 29th, 2008 09:24 pmI got the formal job offer today, and of course, accepted it. I am set to start on Monday, and cannot wait. This is a bit silly, as I already know Monday will be spent building work stations for my use and meeting co-workers I didn't meet during the interview--possibly to include upper-management types, as both the CFO and CEO were required to sign-off on my offer before it was given to me. Still, I am eager to have an office to go to again, eager to have a place in the wage-slave herd. Because not having one pretty much sucks when you're not otherwise independantly wealthy.
I just have some documentation (still) and a nagios set-up problem to resolve for my part-time job, and anything urgent that might arise next week, and then I'm done with that. There are a few things I wish I could have done (like install a new backup solution, they definitely need one), but for the most part am happy to walk away and be grateful that I was able to get the work when I needed it.
